PDF summary

Summarise a PDF chapter with AI

YUHINA writes summaries of the chapter from its own text: the short version to read before a lesson, revise from before an exam, or hand to someone who missed the class.

A real sample

Made by YUHINA from one textbook chapter on memory, unedited. Excerpts leave items out; they never change one.

Short-Term Memory

Short-term memory takes information from sensory memory and sometimes connects that memory to something already in long-term memory.

Recall is somewhat better for random numbers than for random letters (Jacobs, 1887), and also often slightly better for information we hear (acoustic encoding) rather than see (visual encoding) (Anderson, 1969).

Long-term Memory

long-term memory (LTM): the continuous storage of information

Unlike short-term memory, the storage capacity of LTM has no limits.

Explicit memories are those we consciously try to remember and recall.

Explicit (declarative) memory has two parts: semantic memory and episodic memory.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload one chapter

A PDF of up to 60 pages, in any of 15 languages. Your own notes, a handout or a textbook chapter you have the right to use.

  2. 2

    YUHINA writes the summaries

The chapter is condensed from its own text, lesson by lesson, so nothing is added that the chapter does not say.

  3. 3

Study it or take it with you

Everything lands in one library, filed by chapter, next to the other outputs made from the same text. Study it in the app or download it.

What you get

  • Written summaries of the chapter
  • Filed next to the lessons, questions and flash cards from the same text
  • A podcast of the same chapter, for when you would rather listen

Questions about PDF summaries

Is the summary based only on my PDF?+

Yes. It is written from the chapter you upload, not from what a model happens to know about the subject.

Which languages does it work in?+

Fifteen: English, Arabic, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Hindi, Urdu, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Russian and Indonesian. English and Arabic are the most tested; in the others, read the output closely before you teach from it. The app's own interface is in English.

Is the content written by AI?+

Yes. Everything is generated from your chapter and labelled as AI-generated. It is built only from the text you upload, but read it before you teach from it, as you would any first draft.

What does it cost?+

YUHINA runs on credits: every output spends from one balance. The plans and credit packs are on the pricing page.
